With the rain this morning, Ella's swim lessons were cancelled. So that left us with a lazy kind of morning which is always nice for this mom. The kids played in their pj's and were content staying around the house (at least until the sun came out at 11am). Here's some happy kids eating their oatmeal and even sharing some with a best friend!

First Haircut
Big Cal had his first haircut this past Saturday. As you can tell from the pics, he wasn't too thrilled about the whole thing. He was strapped into a taxi and was watching Baby Einstein but was still less than impressed with the whole haircutting experience. He sure looks cute now with his "semi-bowl" cut!

Sea World
We just got back from a long weekend in Austin and in San Antonio at Sea World. We had a blast and really wish we could have stayed longer! We were all worn out by the Texas heat but loved every minute. Here are a ton of pictures from our trip!

This last picture was captured by Ella (a bit fuzzy but still cute): THANKS GRAMMIE AND POPPA! We all love you dearly!

Just like Poppa!
His New Thing!
Cal has discovered books and he LOVES them! He can now climb into the rocker in his room on his own and pull books right off the shelf. This is my first place I look when he disappears. Just like their Grammie, these kids love to read!
And in true Ella fashion, she jumped in the picture (wet hair and all)!

How we spent our Memorial Day....
3 1/2 pallets of grass were delivered and we had fun laying new sod. The kids were quite impressed by the fork lift in their front yard! At what point did my perspective change so much that I get excited about grass? ...oh yes, maybe it's when we bought a house with ivy covering the entire front yard!
