Easter Festivities

We had a fantastic long Easter weekend! We stayed busy celebrating our Risen Savior with lots of family time, Resurrection egg hunts and lots of candy egg hunts, too. Grammie, Poppa, Aunt Amy and Uncle Jason all came to town for the weekend and we also celebrated Will's 4th birthday. We were busy, but had so much fun!

We started out the weekend at a big hunt on Good Friday. As evidenced by the below 4 pics, the kids were thrilled to be subjected to a photo shoot before the hunt ever began!

It went well, don't ya think?!

And below is the famous choke hold pose. Ella has really mastered it!
"Here's my belly button!"
Love the below shot of the biggest and littlest Baker Boy!

Here's Ella and one of her sweetest friends, Anna.

Yes, you see this right, there's no pics of the actual hunt. We were way too busy knocking other kids over and ruthlessly going after the most loot. (Actually quite the opposite...we had to coach our kids it's okay to pick up an egg among the large mass of other kids. Aggression is lacking a bit in the Baker kids, except with each other, that is!) But we were sure to get a family pic at the end!
Easter morning began with fun Easter bags from Grammie and Poppa!
Modeling our cute Easter swimsuits:

And the indoor hunt began thanks to rainy Texas weather!

Cal loves his Poppa!
We ended our Easter Sunday after church with lunch at Mimi's and Pop's and another indoor hunt with Greerie-Greer!

Happy first Easter, sweet girl!
And an infamous cousin photo shoot out by the pool. These photos give just a few examples of why I'm not a children's photographer!

And finally some last attempts at a family shot!

We had a blessed Easter! He is Risen, Indeed!

(oh and in case you're concerned, we are still very much an Aggie family despite our orange Easter wardrobe. I prefer melon, but Baker informed me our boys don't wear melon!)

hey girl! the kids look soooo cute! so my camera is AWESOME! i tried to email you, but can't find an address. i bought it from a friend who is a photographer for cheap. it's a canon 10D, but i was GOING to buy the canon xti also called the xsi. same camera. you can find them used too. the real kicker is the lens. you'll want a 50mm lens for really great close ups and portraits. it takes the "money shot" photos! it also gets prices b/c you need camera body, lenses, CF card, battery, and battery charger! she adds up! but the pics will change your life (haha)! i also use a canon digital elf to carry in my purse. hope this helps! xoxo meaghan
